Dialysis Transport
Standing Monday-Wednesday-Friday or Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday schedules, with the same driver wherever we can manage it, so the routine stays a routine.
Free quote in one call. No obligation, and we will tell you if we are not the right fit.
Booked once, then it simply happens. No weekly phone calls, no re-explaining the address, no wondering whether Friday is covered.
Our drivers expect riders to be tired, cold and unsteady afterwards, and they plan the walk back to the door around that.
A vehicle problem cannot become a missed session. Standing dialysis riders have cover arranged behind them.
Lift-equipped or seated, whichever suits, and it can change from one week to the next as the rider does.
Most transport can be rescheduled. Dialysis cannot - a skipped treatment is a clinical event, and the whole point of a transport provider in this situation is that they turn up, three times a week, indefinitely, without needing to be managed.
That is the standard we hold ourselves to on these routes. Recurring dialysis riders get scheduling priority over one-off trips, and if your treatment overruns the driver waits rather than leaving.
“What a fantastic experience from start to finish! Excellent communication, detailed updates and truly kind and caring people. Highly recommend.”
Jeanne Burns — Google review“The driver was on time, sent txt messages to let me know they were on the way. They made a stressful situation easier.”
Wayne Casey — Google review“I had a last minute transport I needed to the doctors office, I called the team and they confirmed and dispatched the driver almost immediately. The driver got here on time and was very caring and reliable.”
Roop Hanjra — Google reviewOne phone call. Give us the clinic, the days and the treatment times, and we build the schedule. You only contact us again if something changes.
The driver waits. Overrunning is normal in dialysis and it is not treated as a rebooking.
It depends on distance, mobility level and time of day, so we quote each trip rather than publish a rate that would be wrong for most people. Call and we will price your exact trip in a couple of minutes. The quote is free and there is no obligation.
Yes - recurring riders are usually invoiced on a weekly or monthly cycle rather than trip by trip. Ask when you set the schedule up.
Protego is a private-pay provider and does not currently bill Medicaid or work through a broker. Some long-term care policies, VA benefits and employer plans reimburse non-emergency transport after the fact - we will give you an itemised receipt to submit.
